So in my various business dealings, I had to accept an RV Trailer as payment in Jacksonville. Now my first thought was to resell it for like 10k and make a quick turn around on it, but then as I looked through it, I realized that I’m getting older….
25 is 1 month and 8 days away. So I’m driving into Tallahassee for business and it hits me. Since I was 14 years old, I’ve always wanted to make a comedy film. Mostly just to show my grandkids one day, but I think this RV was a surprise gift from god telling me to make a cross country romp/road trip film…

So basically, my initial idea is a three-man comedy where we go through some cities (my initial thought is some southern cities or whatever) and that maybe we’re selling something? Anyway, this three man crew do something while funny antics ensue. I also thought about a psychedelic Abbie Hoffman 2010 Yippie trip, but that could get bad quick. I always figured I’d be a Charlie Manson type, but I’m more concerned with healthcare lately.
My idea would be to have a five man crew, 3 actors, 1 director (a person who knows this type of stuff, but has no previous relationship with the other 4 people), and 1 more guy to do 2 camera angles and to hand out release forms maybe… I’m not sure. The 3 principles will be the only people in the film, minus the people we meet on the road.
Kitchen, Bathroom, Cable… maybe make it a Mobile Dance Club?!?
Anyone that can help, please shoot some different ideas to me, I’d be open to do this for a cause or something, I have a million previous ideas but any ideas can help. Even if you’re not tagged in this note, please feel free to help me out.
or if someone wants to write or help write a script or something (I’d be open to someone writing the whole script), my goal would be to do this of March of 2010 or September of 2010. I figure filming would have to be in a 3-4 week timeframe, of which I hope to get 1 1/2 hours of film. The rest of the time will be partying and sightseeing, etc
This is where the “night movie” will be filmed… jk… also two more bunk beds for the other two principles… stoked I am.
As you can see, I’m giving myself some preperation time and I really want to do this.
Also this is a good oppurtunity to spec out cities for the growth of my company so to those worrying about me wasting my time… :) I’m still being productive.
Then after this, I can finally just say, “screw it.” Get married, have kids, etc… Please help me.
